KUMC Sunday School
We offer classes for all age groups
One of the strengths of KUMC is our Sunday School program. Around two-thirds of worship attendees also participate in Sunday School classes. These classes allow people to connect and develop friendships with one another through discussion and studying the Christian faith.
OUR CLASSES FOR children and youth
Helping children and youth grow in their faith and commitment to being life-long followers of Jesus Christ is a major focus at KUMC. We provide engaging curriculum and fun experiences for children and youth during Sunday School in order to make it an unforgettable time. All of our Sunday School teachers and volunteers are trained annually in child safety policies and procedures and are background checked at least once every year.
Available classes for young adults
Young adults who are beginning their adult lives, or trying to establish their careers, face a unique set of challenges. Sunday School for young adults aims to provide an opportunity to learn how their faith in Jesus Christ can make an impact on their lives and the lives of others, while giving plenty of room for supportive and engaging discussion.
It’s never too late to take adult classes.
Those that attend the Challenger and Joy Sunday School classes might not be as young as those in the other classes, but they have a lot of fun! Expect engaging conversation, exploring challenging questions, and the experience of joy as you make new friends and explore whet it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
